Oh dear
0 of 1 found this helpful Only got 15mins into this film and we had to turn it off because it was so bad. I might try again and at least try and get to the bits with Aaliya in! Wooden acting, cheesey lines - dreadful.

A real treat
Great acting and gripping story. I can see why Sean Penn received an award for his performance - he managed to do gay without being camp, amazing. Will probably watch this one again which is unusual for me.

Bobby Womack - forgotten gem
I'd forgotten just how good this album was - I had it on vinyl and had played it endlessly in the 80s but then I somehow forgot it and it was a true joy to hear those great songs again plus the voice of Patti Labelle. I can not recommend this enough - a classic. Thank goodness it is now on CD.
