From a needle flame
Produces a needle-like flame at the lowest setting, and a decent focussed flame at the highest setting. Nicely made and fairly well balanced.

Easy to use, with safety features

Otherwise, it is an effective device which can lightly sharpen a blade quite quickly, giving a good finish. Ideal for blades which are not damaged. Nicely styled and finished, so it looks smart in the kitchen.
