I have an old DC07, which is still going strong, even if I have replaced most of major components over the course of the last 12 years! The stair attachment isn't particularly robust, I've found - the swivel head seems inclined to break off after a few years.
Anyway, the product reviewed here is compatible with the DC07, but isn't exactly the same as the one supplied with the cleaner, when new. The "neck" is slightly longer, and so, while it fits the hose without problem, one can't store it in the usual place on the body of the cleaner. It's not really a big deal, but bear it in mind.

Does what it says...
You want it to kill inverts, especially moths/eggs/larvae, and it does. It kills all inverts, in fact - I had a corner under a bookcase where I'd seen a couple of larvae (presumably eating the dust, seeing as it's a manmade carpet!), so I got some of this and put it down. It's supposed to remain active for a couple of years after application, but I'm still having to vacuum silver fish corpses up every so often, and it must be five years, now.

More twists than a twisty thing...
You know that any movie with Hopper and Cage in is going to be worth a watch, and is probably going to be a bit leftfield, too. This movie delivers on both counts. Maybe it would be farcical without a high-quality cast, including Lara Flyn-Boyle and J.T Walsh as husband and wife swindlers, but as it is it's believable.
I don't really want to say too much, for fear of giving something away, but the basic premise is that Cage, a drifter, finds himself in Red Rock looking for work. The local barkeep/sheriff (Walsh), mistakes him for a killer he'd contracted to kill his wife (Boyle), pays him $5k and off Cage goes to do the job. Cage comes clean with the wife, who duly pays him a further $5k to kill her husband.
That, my friends, is the simple bit! Things get more complicated when Hopper, the *real* killer, turns up. OK, that's enough information. It's a great movie - one of those little nuggets that haven't really passed into popular awareness. But it really is one that you need to be able to say you've seen.
