Maybe longer life with the second unit
I have had many different brands of electric grills and this one is the best one yet. Both upper and lower grills have adjustable temperature settings and a sensor to let you know when the temperatures have been reached. This is the least messy grill I have ever had. There is very little splatter and clean up. The drippings collect in a large drip pan that is easily cleanable.
My big problem is that the unit only lasted about 5 months, it just quit in the middle of grilling a steak. My usage is once or twice per week, so that is not much wear and tear and the unit should have lasted longer. The seller does not back the unit up. I have purchased another unit and hope that this one lasts longer than a few months. I did purchase the extra year warranty with this unit. I recommend the product for its cooking ability but have some reservations regarding its longevity.

B&L product is the best, just hard to find in stores.

good product at a fair price
As with most electronic parts, you are not sure tat they will work. Tis one did and seems to work fine.
