boosts performance
I bought this as a socket 939 to replace an Athlon single core 3500+. Its made a big difference to performance - before it was easy for me to hit the 100% limit on my CPU - now i rarely run out of processing power. One of my video coding processes fell in time from 22 mins to 8 mins. Really good way to improve your PC.

Good quality PS for a reasonable price
1 of 1 found this helpful This is not the cheapest phantom power supply on the market, but reviews on the lower cost ones seem to suggest that they introduce some noise to the signal. This one is transparent and noiseless - which is exactly what you want in a power supply.
