Hammerite Special Metal Primer 250ml

covers well and cleans up with water

I bought this as a primer and undercoat for painting external stainless steel. After roughing up the steel the primer dried quickly, adhered well and clearly showed any areas which needed "re-roughing". The topcoat adhered very well to the Hammerite and the finished article has stood up well to severe wind and rain. Particularly good is that the primer isn't messy - spills and brushes can be cleaned in water.

simple and straightforward

perfect for fitting feet to an antique desk - with a spot of glue on the "foot" thread to hold it tight, it simply screwed into the desk base and could be adjusted to ensure a perfect level while all the work remained "hidden". Easy to do - just don't drill your holes too wide or too long.

Well designed - and it works!!

So good that we have a total of three in the house. They all fit very snugly and don't move around on the mattresses, the quality is typically German - very high! and the wires are slim and can't be felt when lying in bed. The "extra" heat for the foot area is a Godsend on winter nights and the heat and timer control device is straightforward and easy to use.
