Weak splatter, not a peppermint pinwheel.
This is a limited edition pressing of The Stripes 3rd album, pressed on white and red peppermint pinwheel vinyl. While Third Man pressings are usually outstanding and very high quality, this colored vinyl edition is disappointing... The pinwheel lost it's stripes. No pinwheel whatsoever, just splotches of red on white vinyl. I was expecting the cool signature peppermint candy pinwheel similar to the example from the label, but not on this one. When it comes to these things, I think many of the pressings towards the end of the run were done like this and others received the same weak color design. Usually the first few hundred or so have the full pinwheel design and on the subsequent vinyl, the operator tends to slack off and just throws some colored pellets in not caring about the end result... While this is a good pressing to have and the sound quality is excellent, I'll chalk this up to a "weak splatter", not a "peppermint pinwheel".

What would you do for a Klondrive bar?
MXR proves once again to be highly competitive in a huge market of otherwise expensive handmade boutique pedals. While this pedal may not be a handmade build, it is without a doubt one of the best sounding Klon clones to my ears for the price! There are many Made In China pedals out there that surprisingly sound very good, but for the quality/price ratio, MXR wins in my opinion... I prefer this pedal over the Archer, Tumnus, Soul Kitchen and other Klon ripoffs. The JHS version is excellent, but its rare and expensive nowadays. As for MXR, I give 5 stars for the Drive with a little Sugar on top.

Other than the crackle finish, the guitar is junk. Disgraceful to have the Jackson name on it. Shame on FMIC for ruining the integrity of a once great guitar company owned by Grover.
