A superb portrait lens
Excellent build quality - seems o be made entirely of glass and metal - feels very solid with total lack of plastic. Achieves excellent results, incredibly sharp and delivering superb bokeh.

Definitely for the dedicated amateur or starting professional
2 of 2 found this helpful Everything I had hoped for - the best Nikon I have had in my hands yet after very positive experiences with D5000 and D90 - both very competent machines to help you get serious about DSLR photography. The D600 though, is a huge step up from these two, though.
I know that there's a D610 on the market, but the D600 I bought on ebay is fully Nikon refurbished, which means it's now got the D610 innards and anyway: this is a lot more camera than I will ever need; picture quality is stunning, creative options are vast, all my "old" lenses work well with it; so: I'm very happy with my purchase!
