Very accurate for a mechanical scales.

I had a Salter digital scale prior to this but it kept literally eating batteries and if you wanted to weigh yourself regularly, it ended up costing a fortune at a fiver per battery (CR2032). So after throwing it, I bought this and it has exactly the same capabilities as the digital one.

Compares with similar products twice the price.
This clamp is easily as good/better than similar types with a 'big name'. Highly recommended.

2 of 2 found this helpful I bought this for my wife because the previous machine she was using had a front loading bobbing. This meant that every time it needed loading, I was called upon to do the necessary evil.
This happened on SO many occasions that I bit the bullet and bought her the Brother LX25 after reading good reviews.
So far thus, I I have not been called upon to change a single bobbin. Highly recommended if only for this feature. Apart from this though, the machine produces excellent results and is definitely suitable for even semi-professional use.
