Vax ONEPWR Blade 4 Cordless Vacuum Cleaner - Graphite (CLSV-B4KS)

Very Disappointing
What a Vacuum, plenty of power and not too heavy. So why the low rating? Well, the batteries are next to useless. Just look up anywhere on the internet about them (Vax in the UK, Hoover in the US). The Onepwr batteries last 12-18 months then WILL fail. Mine is in pieces now as my battery failed (1st and 3rd light) so I am trying to convert to Dewalt batteries! I was going to borrow a battery from mum but that then failed before I picked it up so now only 1 from 3 batteries are working. These are around £80 a piece so a total rip off! One other thing is the cleaning head... If you vacuum under any furniture (my settee) the head pushes to the floor and the plastic around the spinning brush fails and it all collapses in side. I did write to Vax about this but with no help. I bought a new head which are £60 (the new one has a different improved design!) So a Vax for £180 cost me £240 and is now scrap!

Look good, looks can be deceptive.
The flexible heads just flop over, you need 2 hands to get it onto a bolt, the ratchet heads are held on by a tiny allen bolt that you cannot tighten any more. Used one spanner, it slipped off so they have been forgotten about.

Poor fit
This part doesn't share the dimensions of the original part, the bend is too close to the rear subframe ( 5mm at best) so not fit for purpose.
