About
I am selling all my own items, mainly books I used for teaching or have read, clothes (including rugby tops, majority from London Wasps). Is some other items as doing a big clear out as I am now disabled and at some point we will have to move either to a ground floor flat or bungalow (which are like hen's teeth). Collect Captain Scarlet, Stingray, Danger Mouse, Count Duckula and other cartoon items. As well as researching the US paranoia about communism and the McCarthy era.

Brilliant introduction to Poetry
This version of the ancient mariner is a marvellous introduction to young people to classical poetry, it maintains the original text with funny and quirky cartoon images. Highly recommended

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Ravenclaw edition.
Read the Harry Potter books when first came out but thought after seeing the films on TV again and the anniversary I would read again, but decided get nice editions, and as my house is Ravenclaw decided to get that edition. The stories are as good as remember, add bits to the films as most novels do. Really glad I am refreshing my memory, and look forward to completing all the books.

Jewish perspective of the McCarthy era
An excellent book, that shows how Jewish leaders were sometimes at odds with their communities in dealing with a new threat, that of the McCarthy witch hunts. Well worth the expense and adds to my collection of books and materials on this tragedic period of US history
