Not what is advertised !!! :(
I have to be honest here. The headlamp itself is a pretty cool little unit, but it's NOT, NO WAY 5,000~6,000 lumens as advertised!!! At most the lumens are anywhere between 300~500 At The Very Most so if you believe the advertised rating, Don't Say You Aren't Warned !!! Also, the batteries that come with it as well as the flashlights that are two for twenty dollars die in less than an hour of use so expect to buy some more expensive batteries for any real usage!!! I will say this, though you Will Not Find A Better Deal Anywhere For The Overall Price!!!

Needs Improvement!!
Though this light is very capable the price set on these are Not near worth it!!! The adjustable focus is very cool, the brightness level is adequate but the fact that these headlamps come "only" with AAA battery capability make them almost worthless!!! Coast and many other companies could take a clue and make lamps that use "18650" re-Chargeable Batteries or an Equivalent!!!! The AAA and AA batteries will drain Very fast with even a minimal use at anything more than the low setting and this is because "AAA" & "AA" are Not meant for High Drain Applications so Please "Coast" Brand and others Make This Very Important Change In Your Headlamp Products!!!!!!! I should also add that, what would make them even more effective would be to make the focus a more fine beam, rather than waste the light efficiency by making it a more flood effect, when a Fine focus beam can project the beam Much further!!! I own a number of lights from ten dollars up to over one hundred dollars and All can use some improvement in both price and capabilities!!!!!
