Hilarious comedy, with a great cast. A must see film!
Great Comedy with a brilliant and surprising cast. Steve Carell and Paul Rudd bounce of each other at break-neck speed. The result is hilariously funny and a refreshing break from the predictable casting of several of the other comedies released the same year. It has echoes of Anchorman, probably because Steve Carell plays characters who are a little bit special, so well. A pleasant and welcome surprise to see Jermaine Clement and Chris O'Dowd. I hope they both get more film work out of it, they both played their relatively small parts as if they were the main characters. Several of the jokes are very quotable and I suspect will slip into common use as it becomes a cult hit. ... and little mice dressed up in cute little outfits. What more could you want?

A brilliant study of human friendships!
A brilliant, funny, touching, intelligent study of human friendships. Pete Dinklage gets to prove what a brilliant actor he is but there really isn't a bad performance from any of the cast. The character of Jo is so funny and Michelle Willaims is much better that she was in Dawsons Creek. This is the best film I have ever seen! I went to see it at the cinema when it first came out with my boyfriend. We both have a totaly different sense of humor, and this is one of the few movies we have been to see which we both laughed out loud at. I couldn't wait to get the DVD to see it again. I don't own that many DVDs because I usually feel once I've seen a film I can wait until its on TV to see it again, but I have watched this DVD several times and it is one of those films that gets better every time you see it. I've recomended it to everyone I know, all different kinds opeople seem to really enjoy it. (I DON'T KNOW WHY IS NOT BETTER KNOWN) Probably because it didn't have a large advertising budget

Good all round Folk/Pop Album.
This was a given to me as a christmas present. I've been listening to it ever since. I would describe this as folk/pop. All of the tracks are easy to listen to. The production is flawless. Its weakness as a folk album is the lyrics which are a bit closer to pop really. However I think this album is a promising sign of things to come from Amy MacDonald.
