Concise, informative history of Stone Tools from the Modoc Tribe of California and Oregon
This book is a must have companion to any rock collector of artifacts of the Modoc or Klamath
Indian culture, particularly in around Klamath County and Modoc Counties of California
around the Lava Beds area. I have used it to identify found tools in the Oregon, although
some artifacts are not 100 percent known for uses as with any ancient culture. Otherwise
well written and helpful for identifying primitive stone tool technology.
