Good product, but SFF vs LFF models of these servers use different rail kits!
This rail kit is solid and engineered well. The price I got it for on eBay was pretty good, vs. what HP typically asks for one of these kits.
The only issue I ran into is that I didn't do enough research in advance of buying. My HP DL380 G8 is the configuration that takes the larger form-factor (LFF) drives vs. the SFF drives. I didn't realize that would actually make a difference -- but incredibly, it does! HP physically built the LFF models of these servers about 1 1/2 inches longer than the SFF models, and sold different sets of rack rails for both types!
So when I installed these, my server wouldn't slide all the way into the rack and latch in place. I'll probably have to take these rails off and buy the correct ones.

You can't go wrong with this display!
5 of 5 found this helpful Read almost any review, and you'll see nothing but positive comments about Dell's 2405FPW display. (The newer 2407 series, by contrast, is getting mixed reviews.) Before this, I owned a Samsung Syncmaster 213T 21" LCD display, and quite frankly, the Dell 2405 is a *far* better buy for the dollar. The Syncmaster is teriffic... but the price tag on one, even today, isn't much less than the 2405 - and was actually higher than a 2405 when I bought it about a year ago.
The Dell 2405 has a number of nice touches and features that make it stand out from the pack. The built-in smartcard/memory stick reader is one advantage, and the ability to connect multiple devices simultaneous and switch between them is another. Even the stand is above-average, featuring the ability to adjust the height of the display with a telescoping action, as well as tilt/swivel capabilities.
The only other 24" LCD I've seen matching the going rate for a Dell 2405FPW is the Acer, and it has no media reader or USB hub.
