Cost effective and high quality item
This was a replacement for a similar adapter I had bought from another seller as the previous one (just a card with no enclosure) would not fit within my laptop. I shopped around a bit first before settling on this particular product as I needed something that would fit a drive caddy for a standard 2.5" SATA drive.
The build quality of the item is excellent and I think actually better than the pictures suggest. It's a brushed metal (aluminium?) finish and the case fits very snugly together, to the point that it needed some encouragement to open. The card inside is well secured and the mSATA card fits perfectly. I had no problem fitting it together (it comes with screws and a mini screwdriver) or screwing it into my drive bay (screws also provided).
If I had one tiny criticism it would be that the shape is not quite the same as a normal disk in that by the connector it is perfectly squared off whereas a disk has a small lip. This only presented an issue as one of my two drive bays has a bit of plastic in the way but it was fine in the other. That said, practically every other one I looked at seemed to have the same shape.
In terms of quality I'd say it's no worse than the similar products at triple or more of its price. Very impressed and would definitely recommend.
