Sunrise lamp/ Sad lamp does the job same as other expensive branded ones

The light starts to come up 30 mins before my alarm time and almost everyday I woke up good 10 minutes before my alarm goes off.
This is the first November since 2012(when I developed this adverse reaction to seasons) I haven’t had difficulties waking up in the mornings, Which was the main reason for me buying this product.
I am a lover of bright light, I feel the maximum brightness could have been a bit more brighter.
My kids love the colours and it does make a difference when having a relaxed time with family.
