Great indoor and outdoor.
If you plan to use it outdoors, get the outdoor kit. I have 3 of these and the video in pitch black darkness shows up very well. Anything within about 15-20 feet will show up really well in total darkness. Daytime is fantastic as well. I can see anyone at my door clearly. If you plan to have it sitting inside to video things outside a window, it’s fine during the day but not at night. Best if installed outside if that’s what it will be looking at. Video quality is very good and I’ll be adding 2 more soon.

Slicker than hot butter! Works in the MK III and IV 22/45. Those are the guns I have.
Let’s start with the cons...haven’t found any. I’ve had this bolt for 3 days and already put 1,100 rounds through it with zero malfunctions. No cleaning yet and it slides as smooth as the first shot. I had a finger-loop charge handle on the original bolt, like the Tandemkross one. It worked fantastic, so I was a little concerned that the knob-type charger on this bolt might not work as well. No worries. It works perfectly as there is so much less friction charging this bolt. I will confess that I also have the Volquartsen magazine release which is designed to hold the magazine a little farther up in the frame to minimize the bolt not picking up a round. I had this with the original bolt and I had 3 miss feeds out of 500 rounds not picking up a round, but always during rapid fire. This bolt with the same magazine release has picked up every round during rapid fire. The finish is smooth as glass. Love it!

Nothing but the best.
I’ve been shooting 1911s for 30 years. I only own Wilson Combat magazines. The fit and finish are superb. Quality control is unmatched in my opinion. Holds 10 rounds as advertised on the packing. I used to keep other magazines that came with the guns I purchased, but I got tired of the FTF problems that are plagued with other magazines. Now, whenever I buy a new gun that is not a Wilson Combat, I just toss the mags that come with them in the trash. Not even worth me selling and certainly not worth range use. I only practice with what I carry and I only carry Wilson Combat. 30 years of shooting these guns is all the proof I need. Some “experts” say that 50% of the problems with a 1911 is FTF which is solely a magazine issue. They can also cause some stovepipe issues by allowing the following cartridge to ride up early which interferes with the extraction of the current round, causing a stovepipe. Sure a weak extractor can be the culprit too, but if you can eliminate more than 50% of your problems by paying a few bucks more per magazine, why wouldn’t you? It’s your life, it’s your choice. I highly recommend this product and will buy it again.
