Roller novice
2 of 2 found this helpful Bought myself a carbon framed road bike and in foul weather I wanted to train indoors. Mixed reviews for through axle carbon frames on turbo trainers so went for a Tacx roller trainer. Never used one before but watched some YouTube videos for advice. Once you get over the fact that you are actually riding your bike but going nowhere it is surprisingly easy. Just don’t look down! No need for a training tyre or clamping bike onto turbo trainer. Just put the bike on the rollers and off you go. Highly recommend that you watch YouTube for tips.
