Surprising little pump in a great all round package

I was in two minds whether to get this as in the past, battery powered pumps have usually been useless and the battery doesn’t last too long either. This one, with its compact size is fairly powerful and the battery has been going for a while now with just the initial charge. It’s a lot easier to use than a wired pump which would have to have the ignition switched on as well. It also has an automatic shutoff so once it reaches the set pressure, it automatically turns off. The build quality is okay, feels relatively weighty when you have the battery fitted. Only thing which I can see wearing out is the fitting which attaches the tyre hose adaptor but to avoid this I just leave it in.

Entertaining Set

Great Christmas present. Got it at a significant discount with Argos's deals over the break. The set isn't too difficult to build but provides a few hours of good fun. You get the latest set of Controls plus 3 motors for the price so its very good value. Only disappointment would be the batteries don't seem to last too long but this can easily be fixed by using a rechargeable battery kit.

Solid performer.

I needed a laptop that could be a day to day workhorse, something powerful, compact and with a good battery life. Managed to get this Thinkpad T420 at a very good price and am very pleased with it. Not only is it the top of the line i7 model but it has discrete Nvidia graphics inside which kicks in during graphics intensive programs or games (can be manually forced on too). I've stuck in a SSD drive and using the latest Windows 10 preview - this laptop screams with power. Its built very solid as well with lenovo opting to use a metal frame chassis beneath the rubber feel plastic shell. Lenovo is known for its excellent build quality in the thinkpads. The laptop has a spill resistant keyboard too so if you did accidently spill something over the keyboard, it would not fry the motherboard but would come out of the 3 drain off holes at the bottom (I have yet to try this!). All in all an excellent machine.
