A valuable DIY adhesive.
Easy to apply. Takes about 20 minutes (Depending on the ambient temperature, of course) to dry to a 'tacky' condition ready to act as a contact adhesive. Alternatively it can be used on fabrics, paper, card and a wide variety of similar surfaces as a bonding glue. It does not seem to bond with hard plastics.

Strongly made and well finished.
The spring-loaded 'pinch' fixing is effective, but it can (and does) slide if attached to a smooth surface. It is hard to see how to overcome that problem aside, of course, from roughening up the surface on which it is clamped.
The gooseneck requires considerable force to flex it, of necessity - for once in the desired position you want it to stay there. The extent to which it stays the depends too upon the load which it is given to support.
I am entirely satisfied with the product and more than happy with its low cost ( £5).

A great idea ... but
We drove the Wedge into a 12 " diameter log using a lump hammer. Log did not split ! We succeeded in withdrawing the wedge to try again from the other end of the log. Same result ... un-split log and ... frustration. It might make a good door stop because it is remarkably heavy.
