Taking a step back in time. Tried and tested vs modern tech.
1 of 1 found this helpful I am very pleased with this purchase, although refurbished, looks almost new, there is some slight scuffing on the base of the machine, barely noticeable, all other visible parts look shiny and new. The machine was easy to assemble, instruction leaflet included. It is very quiet when in use, easy to handle and not too heavy to carry up stairs. The machine has a nice long cable, upholstery and extension tools are also included. My reason for purchasing a corded machine, for the past three years I have used a cordless machine, which is great, apart from one major drawback, the battery lasts approx. 1yr - 18 months before giving up completely and they are very expensive to replace, as are other components such as filters etc., so hence my decision to return to a corded machine, having to rely on ones pension, care is needed with income. I choose Dyson simply because I have always preferred this manufacturer, their machines are reliable, give years of good service and do an extremely good job keeping carpets and floors clean.
