The Doorway
1 of 1 found this helpful The Doorway was a fairly good attempt of a horror. a group of students offer to clean a country house in order to stay there, rent free. After a while strange things start happening, the traditional creaking doors and so! The special effects are not bad, as it is quite an old film! It's ok for people who like to laugh at the crew's attempt to make it scary. Overall, it's not too bad for an old film!

0 of 1 found this helpful Jensen Ackles is the only good thing about this film. The acting is apalling and the special effects laughable.
The film is about three friends who all play a game on the Internet called the Pathway. The Game seems to be able to control events in your life and make the players do strange things, this includes killing people and committing suicide. Jensen Ackles was taken from his natural mother at birth and adopted by a local couple.His natural mother is a shape shifting devil, who is also his girlfriend!She kills his parents and Jensen Ackles kills his natural mother, he is then arrested.
The premise for the film of a rogue Internet game controlling people could have made an interesting film, if done well. This film was disjointed, made little sense and was obviously before Jensen Ackles had acting lessons.
If you are a real fan of Jensen Ackles and want to drool over his good looks, this might be for you, otherwise give it a miss.
