"Ralli Quilts"- A Must Have for Textile Enthusiasts
I have been buying ralli quilts to re-sell and wanted the book as a resource that customers could look at. The book is much better than I expected. It's packed full of color images of the quilts, their variations, regional distinctions along with photos of the women who made them and village life. Ralli quilts are made in Pakistan and India. Some are very simple while others use complex patchwork designs. The author surprised me by stating that these quilts are made completely by memory, no designs are used. Her writing style is informative and open. I liked it very much and am glad I bought it! I highly recommend it as a resource to anyone interested in these wonderful quilts.

Beautifully made!
1 of 1 found this helpful I am a new knitter and saw the commercial winders that are available, but thought I would like a vintage wooden one if I could find it. Then, I saw this and finally used it and I am so pleased with it! It swirls effortlessly and the various skeins I used all fit nicely on the the pegs. Well thought out and implemented design!
