A must have for big adventure bikes
So, those of us who own flagship adventure bikes know they cost a small fortune
There's nothing worse than finding your beloved bike on its side because the side stand footprint is small causing it to burrow into the dirt or hot tarmac on a summer's day
The R&G sidestand shoe increases the footprint preventing the bike from toppling when on the side stand.
The product is well made, has "machining" marks on it, that tells me, it was hand made, not cast.
The materials (aluminium and steel top plate) are quality as are the countersunk hexagonal screws that join the top plate and bottom shoe.
Installation is easy and once fitted, it's totally unobtrusive, so it doesn't "get in the way" at all when the side stand is returned to the up position
My recommendation is use a little LocTite on the screws just to ensure that they don't work themselves loose in the long run.

R&G Radiator Guard KTM 1290 Super Adventure
A nice piece of kit that does exactly what it says on the box
Easy to install, except the two upper cable ties, you need micro hands or the patience of a saint! The unit itself is well made, ultra light and the orange is a spot on match to the KTM organge
The manual is photocopied and the black & white pictures need to be noted as they are dark, other than that, I cannot fault this product. I do recommend the R&G radiator guard

A decent well made product that comes with zero instructions!

Sadly, these don't come with manuals or instructions and Ryde UK referred me to YouTube for instructions, of course, there are no instructions for the Ryde product!
However, as this is sold under different brand names, I found a video that covered this and answered my questions - so be aware of this fact!
Now I've used it in anger, I do recommend this product, it's of a good quality and makes chain breaking/riveting easy
