Unit was defective
Everything on this headset seems to work, except there was no sound coming out of the earpiece. Even though this headset was listed as new(other), it had an imprint specifying that it is a refurb. I was able to return the unit. Don’t feel like taking another chance on a refurb.

Did not scrap away paint
I was surprised by the official instructions to scrap paint from the door. Instead of doing that, I just tapped the door guards in place using a hammer with a Amazon bubble envelop as padding. Turned out fine and the color matched guards look impressive.

I rather have this than having to deal with the charging port of the new one
6 of 6 found this helpful I already have a bunch of rechargeable batteries. It is easier to swap batteries than having to flip the mouse to charge. Because of location of the charging port, you can’t use it when the batteries are being charged.
