Not enough grit to be any good for sanding
There is very little grit on this paper, unlike normal sandpaper where you can only see the grit, with this paper you can see an awful lot of the paper under the grit.
This would be useful for sticking at the bottom of a bird cage but no good for sanding wood.

Brilliant add on
I bought this LED light as it was in offer. I had seen them for some time but wasn't sure if it would be that useful.
Now that I've used it for a few weeks I just love it!
The key to why this LED is so useful is that the light output isn't too bright. I had previously used a hand torch to light up dark areas of path or to check for obstacles under foot etc. The problem was that the torch meant I was using both hands, one for the lead and one for the torch, this is something to consider if your walk involves gates or hand rails on route.
The torch was also quite bright so my night vision would be badly affected once the torch was turned off.
This LED is bright enough to show ten metres in front of you in an unlit area but you can still see well enough once you turn it off again.
As the LED light can be fitted at any angle yoe can fit it so it shines forward or downward to suit your needs.
Just make a note of which hand you hold the lead in the most as the LED light needs to be attached on the side facing out away from your body. The LED light doesnt weight too much as its just a plastic body and two small batteries. The lead did feel a tiny bit heavier when I first fitted the light but I don't notice it now.
The Red light finction is something I havent used, but for someone unsteady on their feet the flashing red light could be a useful feature if they tripped and fell as a flashing red light would attract more attention than a steady white light.

Excellent
In contrast to another review these are VERY easy to fit and look very much like the genuine Ford mudflaps.
They can be cut to size using scissors so are equally good for normal mk3 mondeos (including 53 plate ones!) as well as ST mondeos with lowered suspension.
