A beginners guide to Sous Vide

I purchased this device as I have recently become interested in the science of Sous Vide cooking. This was one of the most cost effective devices I could find so I was a little concerned that it wouldn't be suitable , however my first attempt at cooking Salmon and Trout was a resounding success and although some people have reported the unit to be quite noisy when operating I didn't have a problem with this. I tis certainly quieter than a kettle boiling. The unit appears to maintain a stable temperature and I am sure with some practice I will be achieving "restaurant style" dishes within the comfort of my own home. There are no recipes or tips and tricks provided with the unit so I would recommend some research on Google to find how to get the best results. Overall I am very pleased with the unit and now am waiting to see how durable it will be with regular use.
