Probably the best drill I have ever owned.
1 of 1 found this helpful I have had one of these drills for 5 or 6 years that I bought used. I use it regularly and I am not always gentile with it either. It is one of the best, if not the best, drills I have ever owned. I am 68 yrs. old so I have owned a lot of different brands of drills, from Craftsman to Dewalt, Milwaukee, to Ryobi, etc. This model, I believe, is of the old school Black & Decker design before Dewalt took over Black & Decker. In my opinion, it is better than anything Black & Decker currently produces.
I recently bought two more drills of the same model as back ups just in case the one I have had for years quits working.
I use it to for most anything one would need to do with a 3/8 in. drill. TapCons, wood screws, sheet metal screws, drill bits, bolts and nuts, etc. I have even, at times, used it to drill holes in concrete using Carbide bits up to 1/2 in.
In my opinion one could not go wrong by purchasing this model drill.
