Quality but has bugs
1 of 1 found this helpful The unit seems of good quality, however to float bowl drain needle leaks even when shut firmly.
Also the carb has not instructions for the extra vacuum hoses.

Bad battery life
The units are solid, but the collar slips out of the unit occasionally, so I prefer the old type.
Second problem is the battery life, one unit will stay charged for a couple days, while the other will keep its charge for up to a week.
Third problem, the receiver is not long range as claimed, I am lucky to get it to work past 100 yards in open field, and 50 through the woods.
Pro = The price was cheap enough that it made up for the faults.

Not like grandads
2 of 2 found this helpful This new version of the old classic has changed little in its function or accuracy with a chosen pellet. However the quality of the sights and loose fit of pump handle need the companies attention.
The front sight was tilted to the left and is fitted crooked, I am unable to correct.
The rear sight could not go down enough to achieve point of impact, so I had to modify the rear sight base to fit lower and except its range of shooting a few yards further than wanted.
The pump arms hinge pins connect loose and although work well, it has me concerned over prolonged use.
The gun has exceptional accuracy with specific pellets, but like most airguns is a finicky eater.
Although the gun is newly designed in a plastic stock and receiver, wood stocks and metal receivers are available from websites of air gunner enthusiasts, so a person can rebuild this classic to its earlier designed splendor. I do give this gun a thumbs up and recommend it to anyone looking for a good lil plinker.
