Easy to convert to Linux Mint
Had a few teething problems at first (forgetting to format the Linux Mint USB stick was the major one)...but once those were taken care of...it has run smooth in most parts of my apartment... I'm buying a Wi-Fi booster due to the weak spot...but otherwise it runs perfect...
It's perfect for publishing (my main purpose for this laptop)...but a wee bit weak for constant online usage... This will keep me from getting overly distracted with other projects...which is another plus in my book...
The worst thing about this laptop was the preloaded "Windows virus"...but I was getting rid of that anyway...

A blast to my past
I remember first getting this ornament in 1995 (actually had three of them) and somehow this got lost around 2003... It was one of the few ornaments that was front and center of the tree...a few branches above the Odie (reindeer) drawn sleigh...
The only fault that I found was mostly a manufacturers issue in that the string holding it up kept going into a slipknot and I had to result in a metal hanger... Other than that...it was fine... I'll find out more about the replacement ornament after leaving the hospital...

Not bad for the second best Boult cycle
This was from the remastered mono to stereo set of this Boult RVW symphonic cycle...but the only thing remains that this was Boult's second best RWV symphony cycle...
Comparing the two is like comparing strawberry pie or strawberry shortcake to a strawberry enthusiast...either would do...but one would be slightly less filling...
The stereo set includes a few extras from his orchestral music opus...while this is straight symphonies... Problem is a coin flip as to which I'd recommend of the two boxed sets... Boult studied under RVW and a champion of his music... The main difference was the 7th symphony with a different narrator...and I believe this earlier set was the better of the two... On the rest of the symphonies...it's even...
