Quality design and workmanship in an EDC knife
The action is smooth and easy to work. The thumb stud enables one handed opening, and the axis lock enables one handed closing. I have small hands, but the handle fits very comfortably and feels natural in my hand. The blade length is 3.45" which is perfect for an every day carry knife. The blade is made of S30V premium stainles steel which holds an edge well, but I am still able to sharpen it. The blade shape is good for general purpose cutting, piercing and slicing. This knife weighs 3.8 oz., so it doesn't weigh down your pocket. The Griptilian 551 is the perfect EDC for me.
