Much easier and more secure than plugging directly into motherboard

This adapter securely holds the front panel connectors, which would otherwise unplug with the slightest push on the wires when plugged directly into the motherboard. The adapter is clearly marked + and - so you don't have to guess which way to plug in the LED leads.
