Simply does what it's supposed to do.
The dummy battery is made of thin plastic, Don't get rough with it. On the other hand, that makes it lightweight, so that's an advantage. It's durable enough so you won't break it with normal use.

Camera Works. Useless without instructions and software.
The Camera works. You can see what it's pointing at in a web browser. But there are no instructions or software. The website is not helpful. It will not work with Windows XP. In Windows 7 and Internet Explorer, there are Record buttons, but they don't work.
This could have been a very nice package, but there is no help available to get it to operate on the web so I can monitor my home from afar.

Great Value
This is a quality lens at a fair price. It does not have image stabilization, but that is not something you would expect from a lens in this price range. It does focus quickly, and performs well at maximum telephoto on a tripod. I would highly recommend this lens as a replacement for the kit lens of the Canon Rebel .
