Great choice
I have been trying different strings on my Enya Nova ukulele, in an effort to improve the sound. To me it sounds like a plastic box, which I suppose is what it is. Having read a passing comment on Aquila Reds I thought I'd give them a go and also decided to put a low G on too.
They are a little intimidating as you have be put them on very carefully (you are recommended to watch a video before fitting) because they are prone to snapping.
However I managed to fit them without mishap and the improvement is massive. Part of this is no doubt because of the Low G, but I am impressed overall and they look good too, as it's red strings on a black ukulele. I shall be keeping these strings on ukulele and will no doubt try them on one of the others in the future.
