A basic reference work being collection of drawings of rigging details of Eighteenth Century British ships of the line with minimal explanatory text.
This is a handy drawn pictorial reference work covering British ship rigging from the Napoleonic Period and thereabouts. There are others that cover the same era and offer the same information, often in greater detail. It's worth the price used. It would be expected to be seen in a good ship modeler's library, but it's not essential.
