Value Iron
This second hand iron was a gamble but it worked out. I wanted a heavier iron and it is so with plenty of steam. I saved £30.00 on the iron which had had limited use and showed a few slight, superficial scratches on the plate; no problem. My previous iron was lightweight and only lasted 18 months from new. I think a heavier iron is an advantage because it makes better smoothing progress. I would not buy a lightweight iron now. They sell at around £30.00, this type cost around £50.00 new and the extra is worth it.

super spatula
It might appear on the slim side but that's exactly what makes it so versatile. Try it and you'll agree; I've waited for this kitchen tool for years!

A neat pair
