Very simple, very tough
These are large hinges for a heavy gate. They are a very simple but tough design, very thick zinc coating for weatherproofing. Note that these are friction hinges, no ball races, so not for gates that are high traffic.

Works ok on my Karcher K2 but probably needs a more powerful pressure washer
I used this on my small little Karcher K2 and it worked, removed heavy rust from my car chassis. It is slower than dry blasting and uses more sand, but it would probably work much better if used with a better sized pressure washer.
I used Wickes kiln dried sand. It won't work with regular sand as the moisture in the sand stops it getting up the tube.
Be warned that there is controversy around wet blasting, with some websites claiming that it doesn't stop all the free silica, so there is still a silicosis health risk. I wouldn't use it regularly, it sits in the shed for occasional use when there's no other option.
