Apple iPod touch 3rd Generation Black (32 GB)

New Touch

This is the first smart product i have ever owned; the first apple product too. Learning how to use it in consort with my pc has been a challenge. I upgraded itunes on my computer and it seems that not my 3rd gen. ipod is having connectivity problems or some kind of compatibility problem, a problem being recognized by new itunes. Anyway, i like this vintage toy. When did these things emerge, 3rd gen? I like the curved steel back of the thing more than the new flat ones, no lack of style. Only time will tell. Battery life? who knows. Will it keep on ticking? who knows! It's pretty easy to use if a complete neophyte like me can figure it mostly all out. But then Steve Jobs wanted it that way, style, elegance, simplicity. I like it. And at the price I paid, unless it dies tomorrow, or next week, a score.

A book of life, a game of fate, a joy forever: by a madman

This is a book to read and read and read again. To assay, inspect, examine; you may not get to the bottom of it; there may not be a bottom to get to. But it is a lot of fun trying to get there! Disclaimer: If, that is, you like a search and not a story handed on a silver salver. It's like a Treasure Hunt with no end, or object, no goal but to enjoy the journey and to marvel at Nabokov as at a Grand Master. Again, not for everyone, but if you consider yourself a bit of an aesthete, this might be for you. If you are the kind of person who frequently says "That's hilarious." with a straight face, this is the book for you. You'll love it.
