Just what I wanted
I wanted a clock (WITHOUT a radio) that I can see from the other side of the bedroom in the middle of the night. This is for taking on holiday where they don't provide a clock, there's never any socket near the bed to plug anything in and you end up peering at your watch, putting a light on or running down your phone battery usng one of those clock apps. Bingo! This does the job nicely. It is very simple to use (buttons on the front), has a battery back up in case of power cuts and you can see it clearly across a large room. I do wear glasses, although obviously not in bed, and I can see the numbers easily. The red LED is less intrusive than the blue or green ones in my opinion. It isn't the prettiest clock I've ever owned but that is a very minor issue.
