Background sound helps me sleep sound
1 of 1 found this helpful I ordered this device because as my wife once stated, "you wake up when I drop a sock on the carpet". The Big Red Rooster helps me sleep through the night with natural ambient background sound that masks the intermittent sounds that wake me. Summer Night and Brook are my two favorite settings. You can leave them on all night or set a timer for 30, 60, or 90 minutes before they stop. The only only reason I did not give this five stars is that the sounds are a recorded loop and on Rain Forest and Song Bird the loop pattern is detectable if you listen for it. My two favorites do not seem to have this issue. Great product equals better, deeper sleep for me!

Great features, low price...buy it!
The upgraded Nulaxy FM transmitter is a nifty device. Some of the features of the upgraded version include: the ability to play music (or audio books) from micro SD cards and USB flash drives. A volume control and forward and back buttons help you navigate through music (being played from micro SD cards and USB flash drives). This unit will display album, artist, and song title for music being played (from micro SD cards and USB flash drives). There is a separate dedicated USB charging connection also. This device will also play any device that uses a 3.5mm headphone jack but the Nulaxy display will not indicate the songs, etc. on a device played through the 3.5mm cord.
Blue tooth pairing is simple and the Nulaxy remembers your phone and will reconnect next time you have it in the vehicle. When using blue tooth connected phone the Nulaxy will display the caller ID number of incoming calls and has a built in microphone for hands free conversations. Simply find a frequency on the FM dial that has no station and set the Nulaxy to broadcast to the same frequency. It has clear, clean sound with the only static I have encountered being from extremely high electrical interference from the city of Chesapeake's over developing for our limited infrastructure. When I hear the slight, (but still tolerable static), it is only in one area (about a ½ mile stretch of road on my commute). There is so much electrical interference in that same area that my AM sports radio station is completely unplayable, it is caused by the dozens and dozens of overhead power lines mounted on the wooden roadside poles, (if you hate over development, stay out of Chesapeake, Virginia!).
The Nulaxy does not have an on-off switch but my vehicle has the 12 volt plugs that are switched on with the ignition so I can leave it plugged in. If your 12 volt plug does not cut off with the key, simply unplug the Nulaxy from the lighter 12 volt connection. I have found that the Nulaxy is well designed unit that does what it advertises, and for a great price. I can recommend the Nulaxy for anyone needing a do-all vehicle FM transmitter.
