Plastic, but seems to do the job well and is fairly accurate to boot

Pukka kit, easy to fit, works really well.
1 of 1 found this helpful Pukka Nextbase kit (I checked with Nextbase). In fact one sent was the later DA-206A-HW (rather than the older DA5-HW that the listing image shows) and Nextbase confirmed this was genuine (as the box still had an image of DA5-HW and Nextbase confirmed that they had not updated the packaging yet).
Easy to fit on my CLIO III. Sited the dashcam just to left of rearview mirror, took flex across top of screen (just tucked under roof lining) to drivers door post, round the post to the rubber on the inside of the door frame (and slid it under the rubber down to a level at the bottom of the plastic cowling under the dashboard), then along the bottom of the cowling to the fusebox (using three small cable ties to secure the flex to the holes already in the edge of the cowling). Most difficult part was finding a suitable metal point to attach the negative lead to. In the end put a bolt through a meatl bracket on the left of the clutch pedal). Worked a treat.
Worth downloading the full manual from Nextbase site (and updating firmware if necessary - but mine was already the latest).
Plus is a doddle to use.

Neat design. Easy to use. Good reception. Overall so good I bought another two.
Have to say that these are really good (so much so that having tried one I bought a further two for connection to other systems).
Neat little design. Natty remote that just works and feels right in one's hand. And I like the analogue clock that displays when in standby.
Reception is very good on DAB - even without doing much at all with the aerial lead. But FM needs the lead extended to get nest reception.
Gripes? Well, would be nice if it stood on it's side so that one could see the display from a distance (I've wedged them up a bit so that the displays are easier to see without standing right over them). And tied in with that is the plugs / leads are a bit obvious sticking out of the back. Might have been better if the plugs were located in a recess.
But overall very good for the price.
