Samsung - SmartThings Arrival Sensor - White

Works great, nice form-factor, small and unobtrusive.

The presence detector works much faster using the Arrival Sensor, than using the application on the phone to trigger the presence detector. Also works much faster detecting when I leave the home. I have one for both my wife and myself and use it to trigger modes that prevent the dog from triggering on the lights unnecessarily, and letting the air conditioner and water heater know to go in the away mode. I have heard of complaints about short battery life, so far I haven't had them long enough to know if that is a problem, so I can't comment on that at this time, but I do know some off brand batteries are just poor replacements and recommend going with major battery manufacturers to get reliable service life from your batteries.

Obsolete RISC computer, practically non-existent support, good luck getting it running!

This product is waaay beyond obsolete, unit I bought was missing the hard drive, and finding one so I can get it up and running is extremely difficult, support is non existent. Even if it were complete, you are pretty much on your own keeping it running since support is hard to find.
