Great Entry Level Switcher for Streaming Video!
The MX1 is a great component for those wanting to get into streaming video at a bargain price. Churches, amateur event broadcasts and meetings can be streamed using multiple (up to 4) inexpensive cameras. With a one camera system, the viewer suffers through panning and zooming from one shot to the next. With a switcher and at least two cameras, the next shot is set up and when ready, the cut or fade takes the audience smoothly to the next shot without risking motion sickness.
I've used these units many times over the years. They perform very well and are a bargain at this price point.

An Oldie but Goodie
1 of 1 found this helpful These little camcorders have a great image and seem to be very reliable. I put one in as a security cam for a friend's store and he runs it 12 hours a day, 7 days a week. No problems so far after 9 months of operation
It also has a clean HDMI output with full size jack. We're using two at church for streaming video and the image quality is excellent for our deployed service people, shut-ins and out of towners.
