Easy read, but I find the character a little annoying at times
I really liked Yellowfang in the books, and that is one of the reasons I purchased this book - and while its a very good read, and I like the characters, the way Yellowfang is written annoys me sometimes, and like Tallstar's revenge, its written a litle similarly in that it starts when she's a kit, and I'm assuming it ends near enough where the Great Journey starts, since it came out before the fourth arc, I think. I've not finished it yet, but I've got a quarter left, which can get a tiny bit repetitive if you read the super editions back to back like I did.
But this is a personal opinion, and I am being a little nit-picky - all in all, if you love Yellowfang, and want to know how Brokenstar came about, like I did, and what its like to live a life in Shadowclan in the forest, its a refreshing break from the main series and a good read. If you love the main books, then you'll love this one!
