Amazing
Amazing chalk paint. I’ve never used it before but I only needed one coat after primer. Used it on an old pine dining table. I have sanded the top but not legs as I was told you can put the chalk paint over varnish as long as you primer it first. However if you can sand down your furniture if that’s what you’re using it for then do so. I found that using the primer over varnish makes the varnish blister and so when you put the second coat of primer on it brings the first coat off with it. The chalk paint went on a dream. Lovely finish. I used the hessian colour on the legs which is a lot lighter than I thought it was going to be. I used clotted cream colour on the table top and then I intend to sand it of a little to give it a shabby chic look.

Great book
Great book to get you started. It didn’t have what I was looking for so I have ordered another one. Gave this one to my brother and it’s helped him loads as he is not a DIY kind of guy
