Upgrading old Mac Pro
1 of 1 found this helpful Replacing the CPUs in a Mac Pro 1,1 or 2,1 is not especially easy, as you have to remove several parts in the right order, and then reassemble in a similarly specific order. These CPUs went in as easily as any others would have.
