4 lb trigger
I wish the instructions included pictures. I ended up not using several parts in the kit because I couldn't figure out where they went. Anyways, I installed the hammer with the hammer spring, and was getting 5 to 5.5 lbs on the trigger. I put the original hammer spring back on, and it was 4 to 4.5 lbs. Once i reassembled the gun the trigger was pretty constant and smooth at 4 lbs. My wife even noticed that the trigger was smoother as well as being lighter than the stock trigger (6.5 lbs).
I can't say this was the trigger I was hoping for as I wanted a crisp 3.5 lb trigger, but for the money (18 bucks) I am happy. It is a decent replacement for the stock trigger. I might try the volquartsen trigger next, but i think it will be comparable. I would recommend this to anyone looking to upgrade their 10/22.
FYI- I tried to polish the stock trigger/ sear and took WAY to much off! the trigger was 1.5 lbs and would not reset the hammer when the bolt cycled. I figured it would be worth the experiment as I could get this hammer as a easy replacement. Hind sight: It would have been faster to have just gotten this hammer and saved the extra trip to the range.
