RHS A-Z encyclopaedia of garden plants
Love this in two volumes as it is not so heavy. Easy to use book to identify and choose plants for a keen gardener.

Good edger for my large garden with 2 batteries
I have a lot of grass edged borders and borders edged with paving. After a bit of practise holding and getting the blade aligned with the grass edge, it does a great job of edging. Yes , I did use about 5 blades in my acre garden but they are cheap and I bought a pack of 100, so no problem. Great against the paving once you have a good edge to start with ie done regularly and not too overgrown . The tool is very light and much easier than my large petrol line strimmer for edging. The 2 batteries were a must for my garden. I recommend safety glasses for all garden tools...you only get one set of eyes!
