An honest Amp/Dac, the best of the bunch
An excellent piece of kit punching way above it's price. I have tried many Dac/Amps some far more expensive than this and some not costing as much and to date this really is probably the best of the bunch. I'm not into the 'wine tasting' type of dialogue reviewers tend to use about equipment, all this 'highs this and lows that' stuff etc., suffice it to say this Amp/Dac lets me hear everything precisely and clearly without any distortion and isn't that all that matters. I've used this with Focal Clear, Neumann HDH 20, Audeze LCD 1 and Grado SR325e headphones and am happy with all of them when using this Amp/Dac, IMO it is excellent and highly recommended.

Good headphones with a solid bass & well balanced sound. Recommended for everyday use especially for the more popular music genres.

Good sound but closed backed headphones are just not for me
I liked the sound quality but closed backed headphones are just not for me, this factor really needs considering when purchasing headphones. I'll stick with open back as the sound stage is a little more open and that is a preference for me.
